  這是一部以本科生和研究生為主要對象、專門比較傳統(tǒng)中西文化的“中西文化對比”課程英語教材。教材共分五個部分:I、傳統(tǒng)上的“東”與“西”(相當于緒論);II、無聲語言差異與傳統(tǒng)文化差異;III、思維差異與傳統(tǒng)文化差異;IV、不同的傳統(tǒng)價值觀;V、不同的文化本位,適用于高等院校的英語專業(yè)本科生公共選修課程及英語專業(yè)學術型研究生選修課程,有利于培養(yǎng)學生的文化差異意識、文化差異敏感性、跨文化交際能力及中國文化傳播能力。

作者簡介

  祝吉芳,河海大學教授、河海大學學術委員會委員,長期從事英專本科及英專研究生的跨文化交際、中國文化概論、西方文化入門、中西文化對比、寫作、翻譯、文學翻譯、翻譯批評等課程教學。主要著作有:《沖突、碰撞與趨同下的中西文化》( 版,北京大學出版社)、《英漢翻譯:方法與試筆》(北京大學出版社,共三版)、《中國文化經(jīng)典英語導讀》(英語版)(河海大學出版社出版)等。祝加貝,皖江工學院講師,長期從事英語專業(yè)本科教學以及中西文化比較研究及翻譯批評、文學翻譯等教學和研究。
