作者簡(jiǎn)介

  主編簡(jiǎn)介Ge Ri-Li, Mongolian, professor, medical doctor, doctoral supervisor. He is currently the vice chairman of Qinghai Association for Science and Technology, director of Research Center for High Altitude Medicine, professor of respiratory medicine and high altitude medicine, chief physician, and enjoys the special allowance of the State Council. He is also the director of Degree Committee of Qinghai University, the executive director of the International High Altitude Medicine Association, president of the International High Altitude Medicine Association for Asia and Pacific Region, member of the Department of Medicine and Biology, Ministry of Education, and editor-in-chief of the Chinese High Altitude Medicine and Biology.He is mainly engaged in the research of hypoxic physiology and high altitude medicine, and has published more than 390 papers at home and abroad, including Science, Nature and other international top journals. He has written 3 books. He has undertaken 18 national and provincial scientific research projects such as 973 and National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has won the National Science and Technology Progress Special Prize and Second Prize. He won the Ho Heung Ho Lee Award, First Prize of Qinghai Province Science and Technology Progress, National Outstanding Professional and Technical Personnel, National Outstanding Science and Technology Worker Nomination, etc. He won the Basic Medicine Award of the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World at 2016, and the National Innovation Award at 2017. In 2019, he became the chairman of the Qinghai Talent Association. He has paid attention to the use of science and technology to serve peoples livelihood, and his achievements have played an important role in the construction of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, prevention and control of high altitude disease, emergency relief for the Yushu earthquake. He made an important contribution in promotion of the economic and social development on the plateau, and maintenance of stability in the border areas.In the construction of high altitude medicine talents, he has established Chinas first high altitude medicine research base integrating teaching, scientific research and medical treatment, and the first high altitude medicine doctoral program and national key discipline in Qinghai universities. He has cultivated more than 40 medical doctors who can stay in plateau to further serve local residents.
