It helps readers gain a comprehensive and objective understanding of the fundamental systems and general development trends of contemporary China. This book presents the history and current situation of China in a panoramic manner， focusing on the great achievements of the Chinese people in revolution， construction， and reform under the leadership of the Communist Party of China， and the great historical process of the Chinese nation from standing up to getting rich and getting stronger. The author tells readers about China's past， present and future with plain， vivid and accurate language.

劉志新，中央黨史和文獻(xiàn)研究院助理研究員，主要從事習(xí)近平新時(shí)代中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義思想研究、中共黨史和黨建研究。主編《新時(shí)代黨的作風(fēng)與紀(jì)律建設(shè)》一書(shū)；發(fā)表《嚴(yán)明黨紀(jì)是黨章的基本精神》《黨的十八大以來(lái)全面建成小康社會(huì)的進(jìn)展與成就》《長(zhǎng)征中黨的紀(jì)律建設(shè)》《1939：團(tuán)結(jié)斗爭(zhēng)促抗戰(zhàn)》《中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨從嚴(yán)治黨歷程回顧》等十余篇論文。 Liu Zhixin As a research assistant at Central Institute of Party’s History and Literature， he is engaged in studying socialism with Chinese characteristics in Xi Jinping’s new era， as well as the CPC’s history and party construction. He edited How to Establish the CPC’s Style and Enforce its Disciplines in the New Era.
