　　本書由作者倪娜用英文撰寫，圖文并茂，全書配有齊白石生平黑白照片56張和繪畫作品彩圖37張，真實地再現(xiàn)了齊白石偉大的一生：出身世代貧農(nóng)家庭，7歲因家境貧寒而輟學，13歲拜師學作木匠，15歲時學雕花并自學繪畫，27歲拜師學畫，攻讀詩文和自學篆刻，53歲漂泊北京，開始了衰年變法，衍生紅花墨葉一脈的齊派畫風。

作者簡介

　　倪娜，1974至1978 在北京第二外國語學院英語系學習。1981年起為英文報紙China Daily 撰稿。出版中譯英著作有《我的丈夫溥儀》（2008年）和《溥儀的后半生》（2012年）；英文著作《中國畫大家——王西京》（外文出版社，2019年出版）。
