　　阿來(lái)，男，藏族，1959年生于四川省馬爾康縣，當(dāng)代著名作家，茅盾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)史上zui年輕獲獎(jiǎng)?wù)?，四川省作協(xié)主席，兼任中國(guó)作協(xié)第八屆全國(guó)委員會(huì)主席團(tuán)委員?！lai was born in 1959 in Sichuan Province， of Rgyalrong Tibetan descendent. As well as critically acclaimed collections of poetry， short stories， and essays， he has written a number of novels， including Red Poppies： A Novel of Tibet， which was shortlisted for the 2002 Kiriyama Prize. He was also the chief editor of China’s largest science-fiction journal， Science Fiction World.
