王西玲,博士、副教授、碩士生導(dǎo)師。2014年8月獲得美國得克薩斯州得克薩斯理工大學(xué)(Texas Tech University)哲學(xué)博士學(xué)位(Doctor of Philosophy in Technical Communication and Rhetoric)。2001年5月獲得美國俄亥俄州鮑林格林州立大學(xué)(Bowling Green StateUniversity)文科碩士學(xué)位(Master of Arts in TESOL-Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)。1988年7月獲得西安外國語大學(xué)英語語言文學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位,畢業(yè)后留校任教至今,現(xiàn)主要為研究生開設(shè)實(shí)用英語技術(shù)寫作課程,為本科生開設(shè)中級英語寫作、泛讀Ⅲ、泛讀Ⅳ。曾在得克薩斯州理工大學(xué)英語系講授過三門英語寫作課程:技術(shù)傳播(寫作)、英語寫作Ⅰ、英語寫作Ⅱ。曾主編、參編英語寫作、英語聽力教材數(shù)本,并發(fā)表論文數(shù)篇。
