作者簡介

　　Zhou Shuchun， doctor of laws， senior journalist， vice president of Xinhua News Agency， and executive vice president of the Translators Association of China.Zhou was born in Shenyang， Liaoning Province in 1958. He graduated from Shanghai International Studies University in 1986， and has worked constatnly with Xinhua News Agency since then， He worked successively as editor of Outlook Weekly， a journalist on China Features， journalist， deputy director and then director of the Newsroom of Central Foreign Affairs under Home News for the Overseas Service Department， deputy director of Home News for the Overseas Service Department，president of London Branch， director of Reference News Department and editor-in-chief of Reference News， director of World Studies Center， and deputy editor-in-chief of the Editor-in Chief's Office. He was one of the winners of the Eighth Taofen Journalism Award in 2007.
