In order to achieve a better solution worldwide for water, energy and food security, and cope with global climate change m a proactive manner, many countries have stepped up their efforts on construction and rein for cement of reservoirs and dams in recent years. The call for less carbon emission and more clean energy expedites hydropower development, as many countries accelerate domestic hydropower development and draft new planning and objectives so as to promote the coordinated development of the local economy, society and hydropower.
