This thesis attempts， through identifying andanalyzing the economic globalization， regional economicintegration and the current situation on worldwide REIs， toexplore the factors of the East Asian FTA including thepromotion and degradation part from the point of economyand politics and provide the suggestions to China's FTAstrategy which has not been clear. This thesis tries to solvethree main research questions： what the reasons，characteristics and relationships between economicglobalization and REI are; what kinds of conditionsinfluence the East Asian FTA and how to realize the FTA inEast Asia; what strategies China may use on FTA and whatsuggestions will be made to that.
