Professor Lu Chuon-jion was born in October 1964.She is a Medical Doctor,professor,and state-approved Master's level advisor at the Second Clinical Medicine College of Guangzhou Univenity of Chinese Medicine (also known as the Chinese Medicine Hospital of Guangdong Province).She is also the vice-president of this hospital.In addition,she serves as the vice-president of the Chinese Medicine Diagnosis Specialty Board of the Guangdong Provincial Medicine Association,the standing Director of Clinical Education Board of Advanced Education of Chinese Medicine Association,and as a member of the Dermatology Board of the Guangdong Provincial Medicine Association.She was chosen to be an apprentice of a famous senior physician Professor Shen Yan-nan in the national Master and Apprentice Education Program.Through her yean of clinical practice,teaching,and scientific research she has achieved great curative effects in treating diseases such as psoriasis,eczema,urticaria,cutaneous pruritis,and herpes zoster.She has participated in 11 projects of scientific research on the national,provincial and bureau levels,and has published more than 50 research papen in national or provincial journals,as well as the monograph Modem-day Treatment to Dermatology & Venereology.She is the chief editor of Urticaria,Eczema & Atopic Dermatitis,and Psoriasis & Cutaneous Pruritis,as part of the Clinical Practice of Chinese Medicine series.Professor Lu also participated in the editing and publication of Diagnosis of Chinese Medicine and Collection of Cases in Dermatology.She has won 7 clinical and teaching achievement awards.
