"Issues and Exploration：Past， Present and Future of China's Tourism Development"has collected Zhang Lingyun published essays over the past 10 years.These essays explored and analyzed the development of tourism in China.Although some of the issues concerned in the essays may no longer be as salient as they once were， the problems reviewed in the essays have affected China's recent tourism development and the input offered by tourism academics regarding their solution. And some of those problems have not yet to be resolved and await input from academic， non-experts and individuals with practical experience in China's tourism industry.

Professor Zhang Lingyun?。◤埩柙疲urrently serves as the Deputy Executive Dean of the Tourism Institute， Beijing Union University and Deputy Executive Editor of Tourism Tribune， having arrived from his previous post of the Dean of the Academy of Tourism Development， BISU. ProfessorZhang is engaged in multiple social positions， among which are Member of the China Tourism Academy Academic Committee， Specially Invited Researcher of the Tourism Research Center of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences， Member of the Academic Committee of Tourism Science， and Academic Consultant of Management of Tourism，Professor Zhang Lingyun's main research areas include tourism economics， tourism geography and tourism management. He has published over 100 papers in academic journals， and over 40 monographs， translated books and textbooks. Recently， one of his papers was awarded by China National Tourism Administration the first prize among 2010 tourism academic papers.Professor Wang Xiangning?。ㄍ跸驅帲urrently works at Beijing International Studies University. She supervises master students at BISU. Her main areas of research are English language education， interpretation， translation and tourism management. She has authored more than 10 textbooks and translation works and managed more than 10 research projects. In 2006， the Beijing Municipal Education Committee awarded her the honor of "Beijing Best University Teacher".
