Franz Pochhacker is Associate Professor of Interpreting Studies in the Department of Translation and Interpreting at the University of Vienna. He has held a fulltime research and teaching position in the area of translation and interpreting at the University since 1989. He has been working as a conference and media interpreter and published articles and monographs on various domains of interpreting.
