　　《東西方文化碰撞中的身份尋求：美國(guó)華裔女性文學(xué)研究》以“文化批評(píng)”為理論先導(dǎo)，旨在解讀美國(guó)華裔女性作家的作品，著重探討身份尋求這一主題以及為此主題服務(wù)的藝術(shù)手段。通過(guò)對(duì)湯亭亭、譚恩美早期作品的細(xì)讀，筆者試圖揭示出深嵌于美國(guó)華裔女性作家作品之中的社會(huì)及文化結(jié)構(gòu)，以理解將這些作品塑造成型的敘事和藝術(shù)實(shí)踐，并最終闡明美國(guó)華裔女性作家筆下的身份尋求過(guò)程之中的混同與融合趨勢(shì)。
