作者簡介

　　張民和，1962年出生，漢族，陜西省西安市人。西安學(xué)院外語系系主任兼外語教研室主任，學(xué)科帶頭人。在工作中，他敢于改革和創(chuàng)新，為西安學(xué)院的外語教學(xué)創(chuàng)出了一條卓有成效的新路子。在教學(xué)方面，他采取了一系列改革措施，從根本上改變了原先陳舊的教學(xué)模式。在提高學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)質(zhì)量方面，他極力主張以挖掘?qū)W生最大知識潛力為核心進(jìn)行教學(xué)改革。在2004年5月底由陜西省13個(gè)部委局主辦的“漢斯杯”陜西省首屆大學(xué)生才藝大獎(jiǎng)賽英文講演賽及英文辯論賽中，西安思源學(xué)院分別獲得計(jì)演賽與辯論賽的冠軍，并在講演賽的15名中有6名來自西安思源學(xué)院，辯論賽前四名中，前兩名來自思源學(xué)院。除編寫實(shí)用英語教材《英語基礎(chǔ)》、《英語口語與文化（北美篇）》外，還編寫教材《英語演講》一書。
